Miles Apart

Rising up and shining so pristine
Disappearing each time it meets my eye
The known visual seems unseen
Almost blocked by that cursed tie
All those familiar words
Now lost in the lovely wood
Fighting the unknown with the inky swords
It no longer depends on the mood
Hard to tell what it really means
As colors flicker through
The grayish cloudy scenes.

Lost in the woods now it's too late
A fragment of the distant past
Maybe an unsolved mystery of fate
Incomplete wishes yeah they last
Flickering in glimpses all night long
Sighs and smiles a pretty collab
Feeling alive again in the words of song
Now stuck with the collars in the lab
Torn apart a painful understatement
Hidden away below the basement.

Writing down thoughts a waste of time
All seems wasted as life gives lime
Incomplete stories take a turn
Those uncertain goodbyes all earn
Incomplete hold ups mixed with guilt
As midnight struck fixed with quilt
Now that the Pandora's box is open
Let's just let all the emotions rain
But if all gets well in a second's flick
Time seems boring as clocks tick.

'Coz what's life without a few glitches
Millions of options staring for choice
Adore how adversity always teaches
Follow the heart or brain's voice?
Look over the shoulder they've parted miles
Just a hefty game of bills and lucks
That's how time makes profiles
Some say it's the best, some say it sucks
Maybe it's worth it maybe it's not
How to tell if you haven't tried and fought?!

Perfect, Not Perfect

Behind closed doors when the curtain closes, Too many voices screaming through A few rooms extend to that of a million losses All they are obsessed with what was never true; Stumbling back falling in the globe of fake smiles Every bit so damn perfect ,never fails to leave cue, Expectations running ahead a million miles Leaving to deal with a state of Black and Blue! Falling back again ,pretending what we never saw Still making alive through thick and thin Invisible scratches on the pale skin, they like to draw  Hiding away from the world, away in the ripped jean. Perfect ,ever been so damn perfect Now it's scary to be the odd one out; Just like the fortune cookies burned beyond baked Never gets old what the fuss is all 'bout! That distant world of constant criticism All they do is judge at the first sight Breaking up the bars of the good old prison Who ever returned unstained from such a fight?  An unhappy generation with  happy pictures Ashamed of a broken heart hidden behin

Cup of Change

You said it was over But it's not over yet,not over yet You promised that it was over You said you won't discriminate You promised you'll be different Thinking 'bout you lately Know your favorite is the red paint Tears that you chose not to see. Be it blonde, brunette, black or fade Or the catchy strings of red Be it wavy, plain, curled or straight It all makes the same braid Be it the brown, blue, green or hazel Or any other in the color palette Let's just focus on the story the eyes tell And burn all standards of beauty set; Let's hug the warmth of the heart And ditch those who've set bars Of height and weight that hurt The choice is not always his or hers. The grey cloud of greed Shaken up by the bright light of kindness The tiny granules of arrogance Washed up by the tides of curiosity Where nobody's scared out of the fence And can swim in the waves of diversity   Where every war of Colorado Is blown away by the breeze of p

Forever

It's been three years But feels like a decade, Battling his worst fears His soul is now fade, Only him and his shaded dream Broken from inside, but says he's fine Patience filled to its brim Its hard now even to draw the line; He smiles at the crowd Through his tear stained cheeks All the voices screaming loud All he remembers are the erroneous ticks. Finding himself in all the wrong places Wanna see the golden lights Tying his rugged shoelaces His nightmares full of bloody fights, Wasn't that enough, wasn't that old? He wants it too bad,now it's too late Wasn't it mean, wasn't it cold? Is it all in his mind and not in his fate? Waiting, waiting for a whole new life Tamed steel waiting tonight Cut through the hopeless knife Still smiling even after the venomous bite. Opened his heart, poured it all Wanna have it,wanna touch it too Yet it feels nothing could manage to fall Lost in the storehouse of an old shoe; Out in the open, out in
