Moving On

Nice knowing you a heart throb away Intimidating quirks you have by the way May I know the regrets you have The insecurities it made to pave? Sighing at the dull gloomy night It's hard to tell when was the fight Staring high, high at the cloudy sky Glad we never bid goodbye It was hard, maybe not so tough It was smooth yet felt too rough Shadows linger in the dark hallway Lying every single moment of the day But we never saw it coming Lingering thoughts behind the humming Figuring it out,I warned to go slow Nevertheless it felt like a blow Change the way you look at it It still fails to change even by a tad bit We've come along a long way Got to tell so much yet prefer nothing to say Give up,give up you wont find the link All those years spent in a blink. You and I never felt the same And the blunt excuses, way too lame; Those long hours keeping awake Yeah was like bittersweet cake Holding on,the memories smile Hidden in those lost pages of the b

BOO

Fumbling around to find my phone ring Gasping at it hearing a ping "I think I found my girl" So he does like another girl He must have never liked me Accept we are just friends and let it be "So tell me who it is" A lost chance I'll always miss "She's from school...I really like her I just dont know how to tell her" This has gone way too far "Dude just tell her" "I think it may not be the right time" It's okay my heart its gonna be fine "Just tell her you idiot"                            It reminds me of the pain of period My heart is shattered, tears dry Curl up in a corner I wanna die But why do I even care All bits of this friendship was a dare "I'm too nervous...lemme try on you?" Wow now have to deal with this A fake proposal a bliss What about the times we spent Those smiles and glances they meant? Maybe I'm overthinking "Okay...blurt out your thing " &

THE FATE OF DESTINY

Some say fate clings to the land The land that built you with its own hand Some say it tends to change As you run with time and change Some say its beyond our wish Seems like a target we always miss Some say fate can't be found Even if sent for by Baskervilles hound Some say it's what they hate The labyrinth of fate makes them late. Some say fate can be made And coloured or be truly fade Some say it can be woven like cloth And can fly away like a moth Some say it is the quest of life And is as sharp as that of a knife             Some say it is the battle to fight That can bring them close to the light Some say it defies their will The one that tightens up the bill. Some say fate is where we are led Hard to reach resting on bed Some say it is about duties That may someday affect the fees Some say it is about expectations Be it destiny or trend of fashion Some say it is all about the plans Not the game of Clash of clans Some say it is what liv

THE LOST WORLD

A blank page shivering in the cold Out in the darkness hatred is sold Like a torn yellow leaf Finding home on the garbage heap A way lost on the womb's path Raindrops crying on the cheek of earth Dozens of formalities help to hide The address to the unknown guide Transforming like a chameleon Confusion clouding a peon; Waiting hours that no clock has reached Lessons no teacher could teach Anticipation boosts to survive Fearing that sharp edges of life Running quietly in the wild Complaints that were never filed An air of satisfaction too hard to reach All the blossoms have turned peach Gazing at the star studded night Searching for the battle to fight; Expectations forced to hide Teardrops dried up on the bedside Conversations stuck on the lips Happiness fading behind the tips Wishes that wandered off Lingering like an injured cough Broken mirror the mind looks up to Sighing at the unseen work to do Life smiles sarcastically sure Time often fail

FATHER'S DAY

Cheers to that special man Who set standards so high Of whom I would always be a fan Who cried when he saw me cry An epitome of love and strength Who never failed to be the role model And taught to strive for infinite length Who would always be on time without fail The coolest of all times The one who survived my stupidity The partner of my naughty crimes A live encyclopedia of homeland city Who happens to be the special hero Who knew everything Before whom I would always be a zero All my kingdoms belong to this king The co-author of all my thought The co-founder of my personality For me,a billion battles he fought A hidden mind of diversity He is the one,the most unsung The unnoticed and unpraised of all Who developed a storytelling tongue Someone who could never fall Striving to be the most valuable asset Sometimes like a guide's hand Fighting troubles of any rate Or simply just having my back. A zillion thanks will surely fall short For th

THE LAND OF MYSTERIES

The land of sand Blows past the grip of the small hand The unknown facts and mystery Engulfing the cloud of history Monuments that date way back Like giant heaps on the memories track The jewelleries of Cleopatra Stand like a crown on Africa. The waters kiss the shore of Nile Pharaohs walk upon protecting the aisle The tombs are the most magnificent Golden seems to be the only paint Standing proudly are the giant pyramids The wonder world of the adult and the kids The rooms designed with diamonds and gold The myth of afterlife never gets old. Generations of precious tombs Stuffed with cloth, food and combs Hidden away from the robber Amidst the Valley of Kings too far The mommy is a way to the curse A tool to frighten the mass Rising from the dead seems no fun How Tut died knows none. One however remains spared For Tutankhamun each one cared The last pharaoh to be left alone Sometimes missing organs sometimes a bone; A name that shines is of Carter Curio

MOTHER INDIA

Under the monarchy of the cruel Fell all the sections of the society He turned them sick and pale And exhibited his versatility. Mother believed them And gave away her belongings But he smiled a nice witty grin Now who could stop her longings? She gave away her treasures Such an amount it was! Can anyone even measure How costly it was? He played with her fate And plunderes them Their precious life he ate And made her lame. But her sons did wake To protect their mother The life of the cruel to take And to fight altogether. Such was the tale Of achieving freedom That the Indians could tell To the other Kingdom.

FACEBOOK

From the breaking of dawn To the noise of mowing the lawn All is recorded as Facebook post Likes and emojis wanted the most From visiting a nearby cafe Or spending a family day The best selfies always make their way Challenging the followers 'what say?' In this crowd of a billion Some posting their life of a million Some just swiping the screen in awe To get updates of the country and the law Few just sharing the popular memes Most of the unwillingly it seems. Rest just like to sit back and relax Increasing laziness to the max Spending their time scrolling the post No attention to the pendrive lost Or putting up a fake profile picture Covering themselves in a bag of fur Develop addiction to that blue icon The fingers creepily find their way to the phone Spending the precious moments Reading those variety of comments Under the bed covers like a tent No matter how less holidays are spent.  (Click on the pic to know more) Videos popping out of nowhe

TIME

So here is our reader Racing as a horse rider Do you know your past Do you wanna know your future fast You are travelling in the same car Year after year With lots of fear Sometimes you press the gear Sometimes come those salty tears. You think pearl is success Tightening up your shoelace You hunt for material fun Which ends once its done But do you realize What you can't see with eyes Go and feed your soul it's hungry You will die once it gets angry. For many years you have been traveling through All the gutters crew Off the universe Suffering pains like a curse You have had many lives here My unknown dear Lots of burden you have to bear Managing your brain and your If you can just find the exit You will have the chance to meet With the eternal. It is the story God is writing Glad you are the hero It is the war you are fighting To bear all pains and sorrow You want your story to be good Where th

SHOES

Walking across the Brooke We admire all around but fail to look What would happen if they barefooted you Bleeding from the rough stones, you would hardly have any clue Just like we rarely see what parents do Always acting like a shield and behaving like a shoe. A shoe is useless without its sole And so is a human being without his soul The physical body is just a broken shoe Only the mind can decide what it can do; A pair of shoes is a great resource But a single one, worthless even with herculean force So is the society,so are we Who wins is always 'us' and not the 'me'. Ever noticed the shoelaces That you tie in a load of paces One loose one tight just a perfect balance So like your traits to build the proper performance All day long you work so hard And so do your shoes without saying a word Still they prefer to be on the ground Being so humble till success is found No matter what they are never proud Never like your mouth,so loud.
