One Last Time

Close my eyes, thoughts run wild To places I've never seen Chasing the clouds, tunes go mild To countries I've never been All around the heavy doors Trapped yet smile through the rains Found my place on the sweaty floors Crushed yet laugh through the pains I've been flipping through the blank pages Chasing down the bookshelves I've been shuffling for long ages Counting past the twelves I've been sprinting through the roses Glimpsing down the bookmarks I've been dashing through the losses Swimming past the lusty sharks. All night long,I stare at us Feeling lost in the sea of stars Embracing the darkness,I gawk at the fuss You've set up too high the bars The only one I care 'bout And promise won't let you down Fear creeps in day in and day out Finding myself in the long lost town These stinky walls bring back time Shadows smiling from the past Juggling yet not falling apart yeah just like slime Hope that the memories forever

Hellacious

It's been pretty messed up lately So much so you've scarred me fully A stormy inception to the new year Weakening the barriers of all fear Daunting to show a tsunami of news To portray how many more lives to lose Burning alive in the glowing bushes Wait till the death toll rushes ! Sighs to the ones we've lost Hopes to meet the ones we miss most And it all started last December Sighs to the world we remember Sighs to all that were washed away Hopes to be better with every passing day April dressed like bloodbath in calendar Mayhem looks no less than a disaster! Step aside the stormy flood Conflicts to challenge the nationality of blood Step aside the broken branches Gas leaks to decorate the incoming avalanches Cheers to those who chose to fight Like heroes yet not for limelight Cheers to those who chose to risk An unsung effort to fix the broken disc! Plunging in the blankness of the dark empty roads Footsteps washed away along with heavy loads

Cup of Change

You said it was over But it's not over yet,not over yet You promised that it was over You said you won't discriminate You promised you'll be different Thinking 'bout you lately Know your favorite is the red paint Tears that you chose not to see. Be it blonde, brunette, black or fade Or the catchy strings of red Be it wavy, plain, curled or straight It all makes the same braid Be it the brown, blue, green or hazel Or any other in the color palette Let's just focus on the story the eyes tell And burn all standards of beauty set; Let's hug the warmth of the heart And ditch those who've set bars Of height and weight that hurt The choice is not always his or hers. The grey cloud of greed Shaken up by the bright light of kindness The tiny granules of arrogance Washed up by the tides of curiosity Where nobody's scared out of the fence And can swim in the waves of diversity   Where every war of Colorado Is blown away by the breeze of p

Best Times

Walking down the memories lane Hues of orange and yellow melting my heart Yeah might sound a little insane It's a shame,I thought we're growing apart Thinking 'about your scoldful words Staring at those lovely days Smiling through the paradise of birds Remember how we spent time by the bays? Those cute morning messages No matter whether I replied or not Thinking 'about how you always find ways To make me smile even if we fought Laughing at your silly jokes Miss how your happiness knows no bound Still annoyed at your playful jokes Wish to make it eternal and profound! Love how everytime your face lifts up Everytime something good happens to me Breaks my heart when you cover up When the misfortunate one is none other than me; Wish it was legal to beat up people Who find it amusing to make fun of you Miss those bedtime stories you used to tell So funny,it could make you smile too. Seeing your blissful smile Even on the darkest of nights Helps

Forever

It's been three years But feels like a decade, Battling his worst fears His soul is now fade, Only him and his shaded dream Broken from inside, but says he's fine Patience filled to its brim Its hard now even to draw the line; He smiles at the crowd Through his tear stained cheeks All the voices screaming loud All he remembers are the erroneous ticks. Finding himself in all the wrong places Wanna see the golden lights Tying his rugged shoelaces His nightmares full of bloody fights, Wasn't that enough, wasn't that old? He wants it too bad,now it's too late Wasn't it mean, wasn't it cold? Is it all in his mind and not in his fate? Waiting, waiting for a whole new life Tamed steel waiting tonight Cut through the hopeless knife Still smiling even after the venomous bite. Opened his heart, poured it all Wanna have it,wanna touch it too Yet it feels nothing could manage to fall Lost in the storehouse of an old shoe; Out in the open, out in

Miss Ya

Miss your memories, miss your smell Miss the stories you used to tell, With your shine, with your rain How you washed away all the pain; Miss those lovely days When your sand used to kiss my feet, As I dated time by your bays Miss those turquoise waves that used to hit; Miss those starry nights Staring at your mesmerizing skies, Miss those lovely sights Now your breath is filled with sighs. Miss your cries on the leafy tops Your warm hugs that I used to feel, Miss your tears hidden as dew drops Your beauty that almost felt reel; Miss your charm in spring and fall Transformed to a rainbow paradise, Miss your voice when you used to call Through the crickets,it felt so nice. Miss your laugh when you used to sway And dance in the wintry nights, Miss your comfy lap I used to lay Watching the creative kites. Miss your embrace, miss your smiles Lost in the sphere of honks and breaks, Miss your beauty, lost in files Miss your ripples on your lakes. Miss

Grounded

The lightning strikes a distant affair Chasing the clouds a lovely dare Snow is settling in the dazzling whites The world seems silent even in the fights; Flights are gone ,now gone tonight The birds are lonely ,kissing the light Written on the flattering flags Colors gawk at the change they lag, Frozen in time history is here The pinch of hope survives on fear. Portray her love, till she's broke Needs or wants they always poke Holding on,you're way too tight Crushing her down till she bites They drive all night, all day long Futile efforts to prove her wrong ; It's funny they stand up only to yell The story so hard,so hard to tell, They're so insecure, Hell, she feels too pierced to cure. She smiles upon the hills Spend her love, they cover her in bills She cries even while burning bright Frozen in their hearts, such a plight You're too late, now it's hard to believe She's just waiting for you to leave; In the rains ,in the pain
