POISON

Once upon a time, there lived a small fly The scummy smell of gutters caused his family to die Feeling alone and lonely there He went around for a city tour here Sat on the windscreen for a while As his ears blocked with the noise from mile Unable to bear such humdrum Sat on the dirt of a passing trum Soon the green lights turned red As the smoke caused his lungs to fade. Choking and gasping for air he flew And landed on the once green hue Found some dead flies on the tattered leaf Cried for sometime in grief Eyes swelled and his nose ran Before even realizing got a tan That it was from the spices Of the nearby food shop "Chill with Slices" Scared and confused he flew and flew And rested on the window of an apartment new. Soon the monster started shaking Not from an earthquake, but while making As he buzzed, the building collapsed A close call from being elapsed He sat down on a branch to think Trying all the puzzle pieces to link As a wrapper fl...

MOTHER'S DAY

If I could give you gold Every time you saved me from cold If I could give you silver Each time you cured me from fever If I could present you diamond For the tears you shed for me If I could gift you sapphires For all those instances of helping me If I could give you rubies For the sacrifices and pains you've known If I could give you Pearls For the successful paths you've shown You would be the richest person Of all the twelve seasons Then you would possess a treasure that might reach the skies The worth of which would be a bit less than the perfect measure Of your kind and loving eyes.   But I have no Pearls and diamonds And I'm sure you're well aware What your poor child can give you Is only love, affection and care.

MOTIVATION

Walking with my eyes closed Walking with my hands open Walking with a warm heart Walking on the bridge broken Stumble upon some pebbles "Stop "they said but I will go Brushing through the thorns With my red hands but I will still go. Brushing past the venomous vine Covered in the stinky mosses Scraping my knees beside the pine Paying no heed to my losses "You can't" they said but I will go Strings of attachments holding me back Slowing my pace but I will still go. Ripping open the unknown path Thickly covered with twigs and traps Giving no thought to the aftermath Packing my wounds with wraps "You'll fail"they said but I will go Tearing apart the ropes of restrain Making me insane but I will still go. Traversing the unknown and unseen Fearing nothing beneath the glass bridge The desire to unravel seems too keen The path now appears clear with no crease "You'll die"they said but I will go With Society...

Seeing Blind

Splashes of rain Kiss my pane Beneath the thunder As a scared pup hides under The metal bridge shakes with fright My vision blurring in the darkness of night I catch a red light As lightening crackles The puddles record people's plight From natures glorious shackle A poor lad plays with mud Amidst the affluent's tears whose shoes turns turd; The glass soon turns dark and dark As I glance at the wet lush life The image of the morning park Now glows past the busy drive As i set back and relax And lose myself in the gleeful moment The sun now heats it to its max As I feel the warmth with exponent. Such a sweet bird sings merrily And the petunias swinging The twigs now clap happily The breeze in a tune mingling I spend my days leaning over my window Feeling the sun,the wind and the rain Like a happy soul in a meadow Hearing the distant roar of the train And doze off with the image of shining Of stars like diamonds in the sky. One day s...

CALL OF THE HOUR

Run through the darkest of day Elope with hope from the painful shackle Heaven's a mirage away, Foggy doors keep us waiting on a miracle Burning in the glow of life As we get glimpses of mere shades of grey Drive on the edge of a knife, And get lost in the game of predators and prey; We sell a precious daze And get lost in the crowd We stand as a bamboo during the spooky phase A shear light of glory won't make us proud A rude awakening is all we need , As we've got a million miles ahead .

DREAM WAVE

In the golden mist To visit the memoirs of desires' list The tired eyelids go to rest, The free wings fly from their nest To explore the wild And the enormous wishes piled To hover over the unseen To hear the unknown's tune To set upon an expedition And succeed even in the most impossible mission To catch a glimpse of the long gone Or even the very unborn Dreams are full of mystery Or heroes from the pages of history It is the flight From darkness to the light With eyes set on the horizon line Staring at the bright sunshine But sometimes it is full of horror Or daily life's undesirable terror Dude, who cares For the petty nightmares ? Just live your wildest dreams And shout out your success with screams!

Mess in Heaven

"Go to the doorway To check the new arrivals Focus less on what they have to say And confirm other close calls" Says the Almighty , Resting on his soft bed amidst the feather. "Sorry my lord "says his secretary "Heaven website is hacked, forgive me father", "Every spirit has to prove his talent To get the hall pass", Declared the Lord as he went Back to his game of chess pass; Back on the cloud Someone was pulling Tagore's long beard While Tansen started singing loud As the crowd became mad, anger engulfed the guard. Struggling with Mona Lisa Heavily sighed da Vinci As Galileo bragged about the tower of Pisa, He got attacked by a bee; 'Coz the stone hit the hive And he had to run a lot for life. Newton stood on a metre tile As he made a square around it And faked himself as Pascal who hid behind a pile And was playing hide and seek. Gandhiji was mastering hockey With the bac...
